Big Sun Systems Co., Ltd. (CEO Kwon Tae-il), a company specializing in wireless LAN infrastructure and solutions, and KT Engineering Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Yi-han) have joined hands to cooperate in the wireless network sector. The two companies signed a strategic business agreement at KT Engineering's headquarters in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the 11th, and decided to make joint efforts to expand their businesses in the wireless broadband and Wi-Fi networking infrastructure solutions.

The agreement aims to expand the service of "Zirus," a wireless network solution limited to some regions of Korea, including Gangwon. In addition, the two companies decided to join forces with regular exchanges and collaborations to develop long-distance wireless transmission products and new business models such as PTP (Point To Point) and PMP (Point to Multi Point).

Big Sun Systems Inc. is a domestic distributor of Cambium Networks, a global wireless solution company, and provides integrated indoor and outdoor APs, wireless backbone, switches, and wireless management systems. In particular, Big Sun Systems has successfully carried out a Wi-Fi system construction project in the SRT high-speed train cabin based on its excellent technology accumulated in the wireless system field. It also has more than 800 business performances nationwide, including the establishment of wireless systems for major events such as the inter-Korean summit and the Youth Winter Olympics.

CEO Kwon Tae-il and Executive Director Yoo Chang-kyu are signing a business agreement.
Cambium Networks is a global leader in wireless communication and is widely supplying high-performance solutions that can be useful in the field, such as "Zirus" to consumers. In particular, the company's wireless solution has a distributed structure, and each controller is built into the AP, so even if the central controller stops operating in a down state, it does not cause system paralysis.

In addition, it is very simple to install, which can reduce network operating costs. It is also attracting attention as a technology that can replace expensive wired cable construction through wireless Ethernet PTP and PMP, which wirelessly transmits data without a separate optical cable connection.

Kwon Tae-il, CEO of Big Sun Systems, said, "We are very happy to promote various collaborations through a business agreement with KT Engineering, the only engineering company in KT Group. We will actively cooperate with KT Engineering by discovering business opportunities in the field of building a nationwide social safety net system."
