Kwon Tae-il, CEO of Bigsun Systems, said he signed a strategic agreement with KT Engineering for mutual cooperation to expand the business. The agreement ceremony was held at KT Engineering's headquarters on April 11.

The signing ceremony focuses on regular collaboration to expand Cambium Networks wireless network products (zirus) services limited to some regions like Gangwon province and to develop new business models such as long-distance wireless transmission products, PTP  & PMP.

Bigsun Systems Co., Ltd. is the sole distributor in Korea to provide indoor and outdoor APs, wireless backbone, switches, and wireless integrated management systems in partnership with Cambium Networks, a global wireless solution provider, and has around 800 reference cases nationwide such as SRT, inter-Korean summit, 2024 the Youth Winter Olympics, etc. which proves the recognized technological prowess

The strength of the Cambium Networks solution, a global leader in wireless communication, is that it has a distributed structure, and even if the central controller goes down, it does not cause system paralysis and reduces network operation costs by simplifying installation. In addition, wireless Ethernet PTP and PMP, which transmit data wirelessly without a separate optical cable connection, are attracting attention as a technology that can replace the high cost of wired construction in areas where cable construction is difficult.

Kwon Tae-il, CEO of Bigsun Systems, said, "We are happy to collaborate with KT Engineering, the only engineering company in KT Group. We will continue to collaborate with KT Engineering to discover business opportunities for social safety networking systems nationwide."
